Philosophers and true educationist consider the prime motive of education is to prepare the future generation to participate in contributing towards greater well-being of humanity and the planet what Gautama Buddha called sugata, and Aristotle called eudaimonia.
The eudaimonic or sugata conception of education is the most inclusive. Both Buddha and Aristotle pointed out, that the well-being of the individual depends on the well-being of the community (sangha), extendable to the well-being of the species and the ecosystem, and the well-being of the ecosystem depends on the well-being of the individual. The well-being of the individual includes the physical, intellectual, emotional, societal, ethical, aesthetic, and spiritual dimensions. This is what I want every student of APWS to be

The old proverb of 'it takes a village to raise a child' is one that rings true for me and with this in mind I believe it is the exceptional quality of our staff, the supportive partnerships with our families, and the nurturing relationships with our students that make the difference for each child. APWS gives prime interest in moulding students’ life-skills and soft skills: intellectual, emotional, physical, social and spiritual - ultimately leading to a hike in their sense of self awareness, agency, rights, voice and empowerment. We encourage students to be “a voice, not an echo”. They are given opportunities to showcase their hidden talents and potentials. We strive for the well being of our students, staffs and community by providing quality education.
